Behind the magic of the Diwali Festival Amstelveen stands a passionate and diverse team of professionals who share a deep commitment to culture, community, and connection.
Our organizing committee is proudly composed of experts from both the Dutch and Indian business worlds, including respected professionals from Gemeente Amstelveen, amsterdam inbusiness, TCS, KPMG, Cognizant, Sun Pharma, Smartshore, and Briddge, among others. Together, we represent a powerful blend of expertise from multinational corporations (MNCs) and small & medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) active across the Netherlands and India.
What unites us is not only our professional experience, but also our shared belief in the values that Diwali embodies — light, hope, renewal, and togetherness.
Each year, our team works with dedication and heart to bring to life a vibrant festival that connects thousands of people across cultures — through music, food, art, and tradition.

Festival information
On Saturday October 18, 2025, from 12:00 to 19:00, the Diwali Festival Amstelveen will take place again at the Stadsplein in Amstelveen. Admission is free and you do not have to register!
The Diwali Festival welcomes everyone; young & old to participate in this festive program.
Experience the diversity and beauty that India has to offer together with your family and friends.
Let yourself be stimulated and carried away by the dazzling performances! Enjoy the workshops and taste the culinary delicacies from India.
Diwali is the festival of lights; we celebrate that good triumphs over evil and that light is always stronger than darkness!
